FLOWERWEEK

I think this will be a week of flowerpattern (and fresh colours). So second out in this series are some pictures from the Balenciaga spring-summer collection. I think this is one of the most inspiration looks this spring. I also think Jennifer Connolly looks totally amazing in these clothes as well.

Yo! MTV Raps

This year Yo! MTV Raps celebrates its 20 years anniversary. I did not get to see the anniversary shows, but you can check out loads of related stuff here.
As inspiration it is a winner. I remember drwaing the Yo! MTV Raps-logo over and over again when bored at school and so on.

LEATHER CAPS ON COACHELLA

Jeremy Scott is so out there, and do not mind posing on these pictures taken by Cory Kennedy. I actually had a similar leather caps when I was like 9-10 years old and very inspired by Madonna in Who´s that girl. The last couple of years I have been searching my childhood home for the leather caps, but it seems to have disappear. It was last seen on my littlebrother ten years ago.
I think Madonnas look from Who´s that girl may have inspired other than me lately. Leather jacket, feminine dresses and net stockings: it has been everywhere the last couple of seasons.

I took this picture while looking for the Comme Des Garson-store. Well, this was the entrance I found out ten minutes later...

FREDDIE BOY!

I saw some songs from a Queen consert in 1981 on tv the other night and it inspired me to post some photos of the entertainer and singer himself: Freddie Mercury.

BOY GEORGE/CULTURE CLUB

Do you really want to hurt me

The War Song

It´s a miracle

I was a huge Boy George and Culture Club fan when I was little, and my brother was even a bigger fan. When home last week we saw some live stuff from Culture Club and Boy George is so inspirational. His dressing is really unique and perhaps over the top, but that is what I love about it. And I love all the oversized sweaters, jackets and coats that along with his hats and wigs became his signature. I also think I might have stolen some dancemoves from him (did not realise that until now). I like!

LOVING THE LOOK

Just when I thought I was tired of Acne, I find myself loving lots of stuff from their ss 08 collection as well as different looks provided by them. I actually gonna dye my eyebrows black tonight, hopefully it will look ok.

OVERSIZED COLLEGESWEATER<3

Some things are favourites forever, like a oversized collegesweater for instance.
Despite the various looks I have always had a thing for a super collegesweater and I think it always looks fresh with jewelery and nice make up to add a girly touch.
I also love these pictures of Gisele in oversized collegesweaters, styled by Kim Jones.
