VOLTA COVER ART

I have actually never thought about the fact that the sculpture on Bjork´s Volta cover actually is a sculpture. It is made by Bernhard Willhelm who also did her tour costumes as well as the rest of the Volta coverdesign.

No surprise, I have been waiting for this collection and it seems that Bernhard continues doing his thing. That means oversized shapes, colourful patterns, hoods and even some batik in there. I, of course, like!

MEN IN TIGHTS PART TWO

The Bernhard Willhelm short film presentation of the aw 08/09 collection is now out. Men in Tights is all about body, movements, tights, knee-highs and flashes of male bottoms.

MEN IN TIGHTS

Bernhard Willhelm is showing his aw 08/09 collection as a motion installation extravaganza. It was previewed in Paris last weekend, but it will be not be finished until it is showing in New York next weekend at the start of fashion week. I guess the title may say it all about the collection. Pictures from the invitation and the shoot.

USLU AIRLINES + BERNHARD WILLHELM

Uslu Airlines and Bernhard Willhelm launch a collaboration nail polish line. The first three colours are named after the destinations GWW, JPD and KNO and reflects the winter sun: gold, red and blue metallic. More colours will be added each season.

GHOST

I have always preffered clothes that you can actually wear instead of arty items made to make a good photoshoot (typically i-D cirka 2002). Lateley I have tend to go for the more arty look, but I guess after some years you want to see new things, clothes taken out of their environment and used in a different way then it was ment to. Innovative or creative clothes/items.
Anyway, I love that Bernhard Wilhelm made these ghost items for his spring summer 2004.
He kind of makes fun of the arty stuff and the whole clothes versus art versus what to wear versus is this clothes etc. These ghost-clothes puts me in a good mood!

Maybe I do not have to repeat how genious I think Bernhard Willhelm is. I do it anyway. He is a genious. To show his ss 08 woman collection he made an fashioninstallation. The clothes looks off course amazing, very playful (very Bernhard) and the whole consept with installation is truly innovative. I love!

Ein av mine favoritt-designere går (som vanleg) sin eigen veg. Stikkord er boling, Miami, trange klede og kroppsbygging. Bole-buksa lenge leve!

One of my favourite-designer goes his own way (as usual). Keywords are anabole steriods, Miami, tight clothes and body building. Long live the steriod-pant! (do you have that other places?)
