This is my favourite The Face-cover of all times! I am not sure why but I just love the energy and the freshness of the girls. It is the august 1999 issue. I did not like The Face at the end, but the old ones are great. I am planning on reading old The Face this summer, so I need to get them up from the basement. I like!

CHUCKS BACK ALREADY?
Just loving this photoshoot from my favourite mag Cover. But hey, are chuck taylors back already? I actually do not care that much, cause I think the shoes always looks fresh even though I have been tired of them for the last couple of years. This photoshoot looks like it is five years old, so it feels kind of illegal cause it breaks the 10 year rule of trend cirkles. Love the stockings as well, I bought some earlier this autumn and it fits in just perfect. I like!

NEW LOOK
Tokion used to be one of my favourite mags a couple of years ago, but lately I have not bought it cause it got a bit boring. Until now. New format, layout and somewhat a new profile that includes more fashion than earlier (suits me) and of course music, art, design and creative stuff. Their website is good too! I like!

TOMORROW
Swedish Cederteg Publishing released "Harold" earlier this year. It is somekind of a fashion mag, very low fi and maybe even more like a palmflat. It is for free and you can get it at the best fashion shops around the world. This issue features for instance a Q & A with Ann-Sofie Back (she seems weird).

MR AND MRS WINTER

MAGAZINE REVIEW. SORT OF
Modette
Plastique
Har lest gjennom to nye motemagasin denne veka, svenske Modette og engelske Plastique.
For å ta Modette først.
Have been reading two new magazines this week, swedish Modette and english Plastique.
Modette is quite commersial and does not have much news to come with. Fashion editor is Kicki Berg (from MTV, I always thought she was a bit foney) and I think the fashion spreads are the weakest link here (not interesting to see all the metallic beachwear from Ameriacn Apparel presented in one serie).
What I liked about it was the editorial profile, which I thought was very modern. They had lots of referances to the internett and especially bloggers, and if you investigae on the net yourself, Modette gives you lot more than a "regular" magazine. I also liked the interview with Chloé Sevigny.
A bit more cutting egde is Plastique. The present new brands that is not so common, has features on the couture-shows and has superglossy photospread. Typically art meets fashion. A few interviews (for instance with Amanda Lepore), but fashion has first priority.
I will compare Modette with danish magazine Eurowoman and perhaps Nylon, and Plastique with POP or maybe Numéro.

SPEAKING OF....

Sjå alle covera på i-D si heimeside her.
Bjork is on the cover for the latest i-D issue, as she has been five times before. See all the covers at i-D ´s homepage here.
And btw, any doubt about the strong colour trend?

REVENGE OF THE NERDS

Nerdelooken rular!
I like!

NEW MAGAZINE!
I love fashion mags and especially i it is a new and good one. Vs. is danish, but is written in english. A good mix of fashion and culture with articles like Klaxons versus Justice, Martin Margiela-interview and something as rare as intelligent fashion articles. The look is a bit street, a bit egdy, a bit arty: just the way we like it!
Vs. costed 110 kr wich is quite expensive, but it comes in a large format and is only published twice a year (I think!), so it is definently worth your money!
