Filminga til Sex og Singelliv har starta, og det blir spennande å sjå korleis stilen til Carrie har utvikla seg (pluss å sjå korleis par-livet er for Carrie og Mr. Big). Denne bagen ser uansett ut til å bli eit ikon, den ser fab ut på Carrie iallefall! Kan kjøpast på butikken til Patricia Field.

The filming for the movie Sex and the City has started and it will be exciting to see how Carries style has developed (and how couple-life are for her and Mr. Big). This bag may be the next Carrie-icon, and you can buy it in Patricia Fields shop.

Miss Bradshaw/Parker var sjølvsagt tidleg ute med metallik-trenden. Siste sesongen av SATC hadde Carrie på seg mykje klede i blanke og metalliske materiale i tillegg til meir eksperimentelle plagg for eksempel frå Vivienne Westwoood.
Eg forstod ikkje så mykje av det då, men har dei seinare åra sett at Carrie (med hjelp frå Patricia Field sjølvsagt) berre var ekstremt tidleg ute. Som alltid.
PS! Fleire enn eg som ser linken/inspirasjon mellom SATC og Breakfast at Tiffany`s og Carrie Bradshaw og Holly Golightly?

Of course was Miss Bradshaw/Parker early on the metallic-trend. In the last season of SATC, Carrie wore lots of metallic and blanc material in addition to more experimental stuff for instance from Vivienne Westwood.
I did not understand much of it then, but the past years I have understood that Carrie (with help from Patricia Field of course) was very early with this look, as she has been with several other looks.
PS! Other than me that think that Carrie Bradshaw and SATC is somehow inspired by Holly Golightly and Breakfast at Tiffany`s?

C IS FOR CARRIE

Det er få som kan hamle opp med Miss Bradshaw når det gjeld stil og innovasjon. Med god hjelp av überstylist Patricia Field, skapte Carrie og Sex and the city ein eigen look, utallige trendar over fleire år og satte merker som Manolo Blahnik og Jimmy Choo på kartet. Carrie var óg den som gjorde det lovlig å blande svindyre designklede med second hand.
Sjølv den dag i dag framstår Carrie som både fresh, eksperimentell og inspirerande, snart 10 år etter at den første episoda rulla over skjermen.

Few can challenge Miss Bradshaw when it comes to style and innovation. With good help from überstylist Patricia Field, Carrie and Sex and the city created her own look, several trends over many years and putted brands like Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo on the fashion map. Carrie also started mixing expencive designer clothes with second hand.
Even today Carries look is fresh, experimental and inspiring, not forgetting that the first episode aired almost a decade ago.
