GOODBYE NEW YORK, HELLO LONDON!

London Fashion Week starta i dag, og eg synes det er litt meir interessant enn NYC. Litt meir på hugget designere. Eg gler meg blant anna til å sjå Cassetteplaya og Gareth Pugh + yndlingen Ann-Sofie Back.
Kjolen på bildet er Calvin Klein frå NY Fashion Week, eg elskar den minimalistiske 90s looken, ganske mykje Raf Simons og Jil Sander her.


I think London Fashion Week is a bit more interesting fashion-wise than NYC.
I am looking foreward to Cassetteplaya and Garth Pugh plus of course Ann-Sofie Back.

SKYWARD

Eit nytt merke som eg såg i London både på Kokon To Zai og Pineal Eye var svenske Skyward.
Merket kan best beskrivast som konseptuelt, mørkt, seriøst og ganske 90-tals men på ein litt annan måte enn neon og smiley.
Produkta er i jersey stoff og fasongane er frå oversized til gigantsize. I like!

A new brand discovered in London, Skyward from Sweden. They sold the brand both at Kokon To Zai and Pineal Eye and can be described as conseptual, dark, serious and kind of 90s but not the neon/smiley-thing.
The clothes are in jersey fabrics and sizes from oversized to giganticsize. I like!

GOODBYE LONDON, HELLO STOCKHOLM!

Er no i Stockholm der hovudtingen er visning av Acne Jeans 2008 vår-og sommarkolleksjon i morga. Årets "what-to-wear?" men satsar på at det skal gå bra.
Blir forresten spennande å sjå kva andre folk har på seg og sjølvsagt kva retning Acne går neste år.
Kjøpte meg med dette PVC-skjørtet på Topshop før vi reiste frå London. I like!
PS! Etter å ha vore på Topshop spyr eg av slogan-tees, det er overalt og i mange dårlege variantar.

Came to Stockholm tonight where the main thing is to go to the Acne Jeans show tomorrow. The big "what-to-wear?" occasion, but I will be fine. I am excited to see what the others are wearing and of course to see next years Acne-collection.
I bought this PVC-skirt at Topshop before leaving London today. I like!
PS! After visiting Topshop I am so sick of slogans tee. So many bad ones and they are everywhere.

KOKON TO ZAI

Kokon To Zaier ikkje berre ein kul butikk i London, men dei har óg sitt eige merke med initialane KTZ. Kjøpte fleire KTZ-plagg der no, og eg kjøpte óg denne på Faline i Tokyo.

Kokon To Zai is not just a cool shop in London, it is also a brand with the name KTZ. I bought some stuff from the label this week, and I also bought this bag at Faline in Tokyo.

ME AND DAFT PUNK!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!OMG!OMG!OMFG!OMFG!OMG!OMG!!!! Dancing to Daft Punk wearing shoes by Adidas Oddity, tights by American Apparel, shorts by Kokon To Zai, Choose Life tee from Katharine Hamnett, hood from Wood Wood, scarf from Henrik Vibskov and bag from Evisu.

Words can not describe how amazing/brilliant/fantastic the consert was! Actually Buisy P (the man behind Ed Banger and manager to Daft Punk) stood right behind me for a while but I did not dare to ask for his picture. I regret that now (why am I so shy!).

Did the mainstream shops today around Oxford Street, I kind of hate that street but you know, a girl has to go to Topshop and Selfridges (both was quite a disappointment I think). Anyway I bought these two pants from Urban Outfitters (which I think has stepped up lately, many nice brands such as Ksubi, Martin Margiela 6, Henrik Vibskov, Cheap Monday, Sonia By Sonia Rykel, Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood and of course a good secondhand department).

is the slogan at Ed´s Diner in Great Newport Street in Covent Garden. Old school fries, onion rings, burgers in an 50s diner. Cool! You should try it!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...

heiter den nye utstillinga til ein av mine favo-kunstnera Damien Hirst. Den diamantbesatte hovudskallen (prislapp: 50 millionar pund) har vakt reaksjonar (som det meste av Hirts´s kunst) og gjett om eg skal få med meg denne utstillinga i London når eg reiser over i neste veke! Faktisk så kan du (sensasjonelt nok) sjå ei rekke av Damien Hirst sine verk i Hardanger denne sommaren, nærare bestemt på kunsthuset Kabuso i Øystese.

is the name of the new Damien Hirst exhibit, one of my favourite artists. The headscull covered with diamonds (price: 50 million pounds) has made a lot of people to react (like most of his art works). I am definentely going to the exhibit when I am in London next week.
Actually, if you are in Bergen this summer you can see lots of Damien Hirsts´s most known works at Kabuso in Øystese.

Yes, då er fly + hotell + festivalpass til London bestilt! Eg gler meg, og plutselig gikk det opp for meg at det berre er litt over to veker til vi reiser.
Det blir fem dagar med hardcore shopping/sjå i dei beste butikkane sessions og så skal vi få med oss to daga på Wireless Festival i Hyde Park der all time favourites Air og Daft Punk +++ er headliners. Ahhhh, det blir nice!
I tillegg blir London-turen avslutta med to daga i Stockholm med eksklusiv visning av Acne Jeans sin ss 08 kolleksjon. Det er nesten over the top. I love!

Flight + hotel + festival tickets to London is now ordered! Really looking foreward to it, and I suddenly realised that it is only two weeks ahead.
Five days with hardcore shopping/looking for the best shops sessions, and then it is two days at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park with headliners like all time favourites Air and Daft Punk +++.
Gonna be soooo nice!
And then the London trip will be finished with two days in Stockholm with exclusive
ss 08 Acne Jeans show. It is almost too much. I love!
