New Shop in New York





Jil Sander recently opened a new store in New York on Howard Street (just by Opening Ceremony) and I guess that is just another excuse to post some pictures from the "above-this-world" 08 summer/spring collection. It is purely fantastic! I love the minimalistic 90s look, and every piece looks like candy (expensive candy that is). I think this is clothes you would wear for decades.

THE FACE 4 EVER

This is my favourite The Face-cover of all times! I am not sure why but I just love the energy and the freshness of the girls. It is the august 1999 issue. I did not like The Face at the end, but the old ones are great. I am planning on reading old The Face this summer, so I need to get them up from the basement. I like!

OVERSIZED COLLEGESWEATER<3

Some things are favourites forever, like a oversized collegesweater for instance.
Despite the various looks I have always had a thing for a super collegesweater and I think it always looks fresh with jewelery and nice make up to add a girly touch.

RAF SIMONS + EASTPAK = AMAZING!

Raf Simons and Eastpak has made the most fantastic backpacks I have ever seen. Saw them irl in Copenhagen shop Paristexas. Very oversized, very amazing and a strong yet understated Raf Simons signature (and a bit of Eastpak in there as well). I like a lot!

BEST OF 2007: SHOES

The readers of danish übermagazine Cover has voted this Nike Air Max 1 "Elephant Pack"x Atmos sneaker of the year. Love the shoes, but the design is not my favourite. 

My sneaker of the year (according to most worn) is my Nike Air Max 1 Premium seen on this picture. So versatile and mellow but still very fresh. 

Number 2 are my Visvim-shoes and number 3 these Air Stab seen as number three on this picture (I asked for them all over London but no one had my size, so I never got to buy them).

This is the leatherjacket I have been searching for. Love the big arms and the relaxed shape.




Hot in black, cool haircut on the boy and I love the batik-ish jeans.

Fin dag i Bergen i dag, legg merke til at ein kan gå med t-skjorte ute. Det er lenge sidan sist. Jakka eg har på er mi favoritt sommarjakke. Eg fann den på Fretex i fjor vår og betalte 40 kroner for den. Den er vid, passeleg lengd, rynkete og stor hals og 3/4 armar og er faktisk heimesydd! I love it!
Ellers har eg på jeans frå Acne (Hep), Nike AirMax 180 sko, lang singlet frå American Apparel, solbriller frå Stella McCartney og t-skjorte frå Acne Jeans.

Nice weather today, notice that I wear tee outside. The jacket is my favourite summerjacket. I found it at a charity shop for 40 kroner. It is kind of oversized, with a big and ruffled throat and with 3/4 arms, and it is actually homesowed! I love it!

MY NEW FAVOURITE BAG?

Har kjøpt denne veska frå det relativt nye merket Rika (svensk jente som står bak, stylist turns designer). Det eg likar med denne veska er at den er veldig stor, har store skinnhankar som ikkje sklir ned frå skuldra og grovt denimstoff som sikrar ein nedpå men cool look. Kanskje er dette veska som skal ta trona frå mi Evisu-veske som har vore min evige favoritt siste sju åra?

I have bought this bag from new brand Rika (swedish stylist girl turns designer). What I like about this bag is that it is very big, it has big handles in leather that dont slip off the shoulder and it is in a rough denim material which makes it down to earth but still lookes good. Maybe this one can be my new favourite bag after my beloved Evisu-bag that I have used very frequentely for the last seven years?
