NEW MAC

Yesterday I ordered a Mac Pro since my old powerbook seems to be in eternal sleep modus. I do not think I will have it before my trip to New York, but it does not matter since I am travelling without my laptop (for once).
Also I ask for your patience since this ibook I am working from now is very slow and it is difficult to upload my own pictures in the quality I like. This means less pictures from me, but hopefully more from around the web.

I think these shoes from Chloé is so nice. Very modern looking and innovative. I actually like Chloé a lot better after Paulo Melim Andersson took over, even though I know many will disagree with me. I like his simple and minimalism design that has a egde to it. It looks very new and modern.

COMPUTER SAYS NO

That is right. Yesterday my powerbook stopped breathing and still no sign of life. That means that lots of stuff I have written, photographed and done the last couple of years is gone atm (no backup of course). This has given me loads of extrawork yesterday and today and some anxiety I must admit.
Hopefully I might be able to rescue my harddisk, but for now I just need to finish my deadline that is tonight. I will blog tomorrow, if not earlier. Hold tight.

It´s a miracle

I was a huge Boy George and Culture Club fan when I was little, and my brother was even a bigger fan. When home last week we saw some live stuff from Culture Club and Boy George is so inspirational. His dressing is really unique and perhaps over the top, but that is what I love about it. And I love all the oversized sweaters, jackets and coats that along with his hats and wigs became his signature. I also think I might have stolen some dancemoves from him (did not realise that until now). I like!

Just when I thought I was tired of Acne, I find myself loving lots of stuff from their ss 08 collection as well as different looks provided by them. I actually gonna dye my eyebrows black tonight, hopefully it will look ok.

SUDDENLY HOLIDAY

So we suddenly decided to drive to my birthplace Ulsteinvik yesterday (most norwegians have one week easter holiday), and now we are here. Lots of snow here, I brought mostly spring/summer clothes but happily we have a car so we do not have to walk around too much.

WORK IN A SHOP = SHOPPING

If you have ever worked in a (clothing)shop, you might know that it makes you a shoppingmaniac. The last couple of days I have bought a black eco-sweater from Filippa K, a scarf from Wood Wood and finally these jewelerys from Fa Fa Fa, and I think more will come my way. I like!

OVERSIZED COLLEGESWEATER<3

Some things are favourites forever, like a oversized collegesweater for instance.
Despite the various looks I have always had a thing for a super collegesweater and I think it always looks fresh with jewelery and nice make up to add a girly touch.

I LOVE BERGEN IN THE SPRINGTIME

Last week it was a big snowstorm, this week it is sun and 10 degrees celsius and suddenly it feels like springtime. Hopefully the springweather will inspire to dress properly and taking some mystyle pix that is actually worth posting.

DON´T QUIT YOUR DAYJOB

Well, I just did. That means that I no longer work as editor for Natt&Dag (free monthly paper in Norway). It feels good to move on and I do have a plan. A big plan, so all my readers: watch this space for information.
In the meantime I plan to do some freelance writing and work a little at Pepper.

VOLTA COVER ART

I have actually never thought about the fact that the sculpture on Bjork´s Volta cover actually is a sculpture. It is made by Bernhard Willhelm who also did her tour costumes as well as the rest of the Volta coverdesign.
