BEST OF 2007: INSPIRATION
It is not easy to pick only three great inspirations from 2007, but if I have to choose, these are my favourites:
1. Tokyo: The trip to Tokyo in march was the greatest source of inspiration. People, boutiques, brands you have never seen in real life before, shopping, totally new brands, lots of noise and lots of clothes.
I <3 Tokyo.
2. Skyward: You know when you see something and it looks like nothing else or seen before, when you feel an extra heartbeat and when it gets stuck on your mind for the rest of the year. Then it must be one of the greatest inspiration. Allmighty Skyward!

ADULT TWIN DRESSING...

is so funny I think. Me and my boyf did it at the Acne Jeans party a couple of months ago. In this picture: Dj Andrew Andrew at the Art Basel in Miami.

MARIANN!
So I hooked up with a childhood friend of mine today, Mariann. She sings in the band Surferosa and they are in studio in Bergen these days recording a new record. Exiting! She also is one of the best dressed girls in Norway, one of few with an individual style, so of course I needed a picture for my blog. Photo op!
HOW TO DRESS UP SMART

I like this outfit from Acne Jeans. It looks very smart and dressed up, but at the same time kind of low fi. It proves that you do not have to wear a suite to look sharp (and girls do not need to wear a dress to look good). Try to be a bit more creative!
Tailored jacket, dark jeans, lamé shoes and a big and an expensive leather bag. Detailing FTW!

BEST SHOP/ANN-SOFIE BACK

One of my favourite shops in Berlin, Best Shop, has opened a web shop, and right now this amazing twisted chinos from ann-sofie back is on sale for 65 euros, that is like 500 kroner!
I am seriously considering getting this, since this is almost the first chinos I have seen with a touch of both femininity and quirkyness and of course I also love a-s b.
BEST OF 2007: SHOES

The readers of danish übermagazine Cover has voted this Nike Air Max 1 "Elephant Pack"x Atmos sneaker of the year. Love the shoes, but the design is not my favourite.
My sneaker of the year (according to most worn) is my Nike Air Max 1 Premium seen on this picture. So versatile and mellow but still very fresh.
Number 2 are my Visvim-shoes and number 3 these Air Stab seen as number three on this picture (I asked for them all over London but no one had my size, so I never got to buy them).

FRIDAY FLICK
I have actually never seen this video before, but it is the song I want you to focus on. A long lasting favourite, a dance classic from 1991. It is so uplifting and good!
Bizarre Inc: I`m gonna get you. Did you know Bizarre Inc now is known as Chicken Lips? True.

COLORAMA HI-TOPS

While on the subject of hi-tops. Gotta love these ones from Pierre Hardy. Futuristic and colourful. Or as Pierre himself says: I try to bring an idea to its maximum intensity. Btw, remember these? You can tell he has a thing for colours.

TRAINSPOTTING

I guess everyone has seen this classic movie from 1996. Based on the book "Trainspotting" by Irvine Welsh and directed by Danny Boyle, this is the ultimate 90s movie with great music, great clothes and typical 90s/generation x issues like drugs, clubbing, no one understands me and I hate my parents/they do not understand anything. I also love the choose life poster, which I actually have stored in my basement. Great inspiration!

HI-TOPS!
Looks like the new shoe-trend is hi-tops. It is everywhere, and after a while with cute plimsoles I am ready for some heavy shoes. Raf Simons and Bernhard Willhelm is showing the way (of course) but there also are classics like Air Jordan from Nike and L.A Gear who were big in the late 80s/early 90s. I also love that Bernhard Willhelms shoes for the aw 07/08 is described as hip house (gotta love the music!).
Here are some of my hi-tops favourites!

COMMON PROJECTS

This I like! A sneaker made to look a lot more classy, but still without feeling too dressed up. Sneakers from Common Projects. I like!

USLU AIRLINES + BERNHARD WILLHELM

Uslu Airlines and Bernhard Willhelm launch a collaboration nail polish line. The first three colours are named after the destinations GWW, JPD and KNO and reflects the winter sun: gold, red and blue metallic. More colours will be added each season.
Go to usluarlines.com for shops/online store.

CHLOE FTW!

Perfect. So simple and just perfect. Chloè Sevigny works several looks in this outfit: round glasses, minimalism, the knitted sweater and the boots. In Norway (and the rest of the North Europe) you might wanna add a pair of thigts, but this outfit will still be perfect.
I think the glasses maybe are from Acne Jeans and I also want a soft knitted sweater (not a cheap one from H&M). I like!
