HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Now at home in Ulsteinvik, it is storm outside and x-mas tomorrow. Taking a blog break next week, be with my family, hang out with good friends, charging batteries etc.

BEST OF 2007: I LIKE!

It is still not easy to pick out just a few highlights from 2007, but here goes!

1. Martin Margiela: The deconstructor. Anyone doubting the shoulder pads trend? Gonna be big.
2. Acne Jeans leatherdress and shiny hat: One of the most complete look of 2007. Love everything about it!
3. Oversized (again). I was kind of tired of the oversized stuff, but the last months it has been coming back to me, and it is the greatest! I love it and it still is a favourite of mine after all these years. This tee from Jeremy Scott is perfect.

TWIN PEAKS

Using these pre x-mas days to watch Twin Peaks. I have actually never seen it before, cause I get easily scared and I hate thriller and horror movies. My imagination goes crazy!
But having seen HBO´s Carnevale I thought I give it a shoot, and it is great! I thought maybe it would be a bit bad cause of every great series from HBO I have watched the last years, but I think Twin Peaks stands the test of time. Very inspirational, it has a timeless quality to it, and the music is also great.

If I had shitloads of money, I would buy one of these for the x-mas parties (and it will be good for other parties as well). Sometimes I wish I just a supernice and at the same time supercool black dress I could wear to every dressed up occations. All dresses from Jil Sander.

STYLE BUBBLE INSPIRATION

I actually do not read many (fashion)blogs and I do not check in on Style Bubble every week, but these outfits where so inspirational I think. There is nothing new about the look, but it is put together very well and it seems so effortless in one way and very different from my look nowadays. I like it!

I actually dressed more like this a couple of years ago, without the high heels of course.

One common problem is the cold winter and it just makes me paralised when it comes to getting dressed. I just seem to get stuck in the same jeans, same type of sweaters, same shoes and that big and warm jacket.
