I have actually never thought about the fact that the sculpture on Bjork´s Volta cover actually is a sculpture. It is made by Bernhard Willhelm who also did her tour costumes as well as the rest of the Volta coverdesign.

yes - today you automatically assume everything is done 'only' in the computer. although even for animations there are always some 3D models build from clay.
but this sculpture is really great!
