Mannen bak Louis Vuitton´s "graffiti bag" i 2001 hadde lang motekarriere bak seg bak seg då han døydde av lungekreft i 2004. Han samarbeida med folk som Keith Haring, styla Duran Duran, fikk bruke Andy Warhols bilder som print på klede og designa klede til Debbie Harry (Blondie) som gikk aldri på scena utan Sprouse´s instruksjonar. I 2006 brukte Marc Jacobs Sprouse's 1987 graffiti leopard print på vesker, sko og sjal som i dag har blitt til ikoniske plagg.
